cryo-TEM Sample Holder for Thermo Fisher
Liquid Helium Temperatures
GLADIUS is our original cryo-TEM sample holder and is compatible with Thermo Fisher microscopes. Starting from room temperature, a base temperature of 5.2 K at the sample can be reached within one minute, and then held with a temperature stability of 2.5 mK for over 24 hours. GLADIUS is used in conjunction with our CORVUS cryogenic stage and the TUBUS liquid helium transfer line to optimize resolution.
Heating and Biasing
GLADIUS has the option to include connections for both sample heating and biasing. With sample heating, measurements can be conducted from base temperature up to 300 K. Furthermore, the sample chip can be easily exchanged with a set of pogo pins to establish the electrical connections.
